Lake area man dies in head-on collision

An Osage Beach man was killed Wednesday afternoon in a head-on collision in Miller County on Highway 42, just west of State Park Road.

The Highway Patrol says a vehicle driven by 44 year old Russell Mills of Camdenton crossed the center line of highway 42 in the Kaiser area. He struck a vehicle driven by 74 year old Gary Schneider

Schneider was killed; Mills was taken to Lake Regional Hospital with moderate injuries. Both men were wearing the seatbelts.
