Man shot in Moberly but won't give many details

MOBERLY, MO. -- Just after midnight Sunday morning Moberly Police Officers responded to the 800 block of W. Coates St. for gun shots fired.

During the investigation, police discovered an 18-year-old male had responded to the University of Missouri Hospital, Columbia, and was treated for a non-life threatening gunshot injury, the victim said he'd been shot in Moberly.  

The victim didn’t give many details about the incident and was later discharged from the hospital.

The University of Missouri Police Department assisted Moberly Police Department in the investigation.

The investigation is still ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact the Moberly Police Department.
