BOONVILLE, MO -- In Boonville a family of seven is left homeless after their mobile home caught fire.

It happened around 1:30 Sunday afternoon in the Sunny Acres mobile home park. Only one person was home at the time of the fire. Neighbors actually alerted the man the fire was coming out of his roof.

Fire Chief Tim Carmichael said the blaze started in the ceiling and they believe it was caused by faulty electrical wiring.  The four kids and three adults are staying at a Boonville motel courtesy of the American Red Cross.
