BOONE COUNTY, MO -- A Boone County man is out of jail after deputies arrested him following a shots fired incident.

Witnesses reported hearing multiple gunshots and arguing in the street at about 11:52 p.m. Thursday.

When deputies arrived to the 4300 block of Santa Barbara Drive witnesses directed them to Colin E. Greeson’s home.

Deputies said Greeson was not only involved in the disturbance, but he’s also suspected of pointing a handgun at a female bystander and threatening to kill her. The woman was not injured.

Sheriff’s deputies arrested Gleeson. He was in jail on a $5,000 bond. He posted bond and is out of jail. Charges are pending.

Following his arrest, deputies served a search warrant in his home and found several firearms, a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

The investigation is ongoing.
