Update: March 24 at 4:20 p.m.:

The Maries County Sheriff's Office said Tommy J. Sawyer has been charged with Manufacture of controlled substance a class B Felony and Unlawful use of drug paraphernalia - amphetamine/methamphetamine. It's a class D felony. He remains in the Maries County Jail on a $50,000.00 bond. 

Seymour remains in the Maries County Jail waiting on extradition to Phelps County.

Two suspects are in custody after police searched their car, and found a meth lab.

Around 3:30 Thursday morning, Maries County Sheriff's Deputies said they got a report about a suspicious vehicle stopped on the side of Highway 68 near St. James. The vehicle had run out of gas.

When they got there, deputies found a shake and bake meth lab in the car.

Deputies arrested 27 year old Tommy Sawyer of Bland on suspicion of attempting to manufacture a controlled substance.

33-year-old Leroy Seymour of St. James was arrested on an outstanding warrant in Phelps County, where he's currently be extradited to.
