JEFFERSON CITY, MO. -- St. Patrick's Day was celebrated all over the world Thursday, and many paid tribute at Paddy Malone’s Irish Pub in Jefferson City.

Pub goers were entertained with Irish music and cold drinks

The bar became so crowded a line formed outside of people waiting just to get in.

The Irish pub went through 100 pounds each of corned beef, potatoes, cabbage and several loaves of soda bread.

"it's been a beautiful day, we've had gorgeous weather, it's maybe the best St. Patrick's day we've ever had here at the pub, this being our 11th, it's been fantastic," Paddy Malone’s owner Allen Tatman said.

The color of the day was of course green and many celebrators dressed from head to toe in it.

One man at Paddy Malone’s even dressed up as St. Patrick himself.
