Former U.S Attorney General John Ashcroft will be in Jefferson City for business talks.

Ashcroft will join forces with Associated Industries of Missouri Wednesday afternoon.

Organizers say the event combines business leaders and legislators to gear up for the legislative session and help solve recent uncertainties businesses are facing.

The event will be held at the Jefferson City Doubletree Hotel to educate leaders of the business community and to give legislators an opportunity to discuss business issues with attending business leaders before gearing up for the 2011 legislative session.
