ELDON, MO -- Changes are beginning at a major automotive manufacturer in Eldon.

Johnson Controls announced it is taking over Keiper.

Plant Manager Don Smith said while the new release detailing the change doesn’t mention Eldon’s plant, it is included in the agreement.

Smith said details about any possible changes at the plant are not available at this time.

In December, KRCG did a story on Keiper because business was booming. Employees were picking up overtime shifts and the company was planning to add 50-100 new jobs.
