Deana Cowen is has been upgraded to fair condition at University Hospital.

Original Story:

A one vehicle crashon Sunday seriously injured a Lake Ozark woman.

The patrol said Deana Cowen, 30, lost control of her car after falling asleep on Highway 54 in Cole county, a mile east of Old Bass Road.

The car went off the road and overturned.

Cowen was taken to University Hospital in Columbia where she remains in critical condition.

Cowen was arrested for felony possesion of a controlled substance, when troopers found about 30 Oxycontin tablets.
