LEBANON, Mo. (AP) -- Police in the Missouri town of Lebanon are investigating the death of a mother and her two young children as a possible murder-suicide.
The Springfield News-Leader reported that police found the bodies of the 28-year-old woman, her 5-year-old daughter and 5-month-old son on Thanksgiving Day. Officers made the discovery while responding to a report of a possible suicide at the home.
Police said the woman apparently shot herself. But the department didn't say how the children apparently died.
The names of the mother and her children were not immediately released.
