Jefferson City smoking ban passes

Yes- 8,892 vote; No- 6,443 votes

Voters passed the Jefferson City smoking ban with 58 percent voting yes and 42 voting no.

The vote will ban smoking in public places, including restaurants, bars and retail stores, in Jefferson City.
