JEFFERSON CITY, MO. -- A collision at the Route C/Highway 179 intersection on in Jefferson City has put a man in the hospital.

Tuesday night, Billy Johnson was riding his motorcycle eastbound on Route C when he collided with a vehicle driven by Diane Stanford, who was attempting to turn left onto Highway 179.

Johnson was taken to a Jefferson City hospital, then later airlifted to University Hospital for further evaluation.

Stanford sustained minor injuries.
