FULTON, MO. -- The Fulton school district is warning parents about a real kidnapping threat in the community.

Two female students reported separate incidents of an attempted abduction last Wednesday. The girls were walking home from school in the same part of town when a man asked them to get into his car.

In each instance, the girl went home, told her parents, who then called police.

The Fulton School District sent a letter to parents warning them of the danger and reminding parents to talk to their kids about these dangers.

There is no information as of yet that suggests if the two attempted abductions are connected.
