MEXICO, Mo. (AP) -- The trial of a Laddonia truck driver accused of killing an Ohio drifter will go on trial for first-degree murder on November 16.

A jury in Columbia will hear the case against 38-year-old Chester C. Harvey Jr., who's charged in the Dec. 18, 2009, death of James William Boyd McNeely.

The Hannibal Courier-Post reports that Audrain County Prosecuting Attorney Jacob W. Shellabarger says the trial is expected to last four days.

Harvey's wife and three sons also face various charges in the case. Three other people are charged with kidnapping in McNeely's death.

Authorities allege McNeely was murdered in the basement of the Harvey home in Laddonia.
