Residents asked to interview water and light candidates

COLUMBIA, MO. -- Columbia residents will have an opportunity to meet with candidates for Columbia’s Water and Light director position.

The three candidates will be at Columbia City Hall on June 11 from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. for an informal roundtable reception.

The three candidates are:

Tad A. Johnsen- Currently, the power production superintendent with Columbia’s Water & Light Department.

Timothy G. Luchsinger- The assistant utility director at the Grand Island Utilities Department in Grand Island, Neb.

Mack Thompson- The former vice president of American Municipal Power in Columbus, Ohio.

Feedback forms will be available for those who want to record their opinion of the candidates.
