BOONE COUNTY, MO --   Pistol-packing professionals from all over the world are in Boone County this week for a shooting competition.

The 2010 NRA Bianchi Cup is a combination of speed and accuracy.

Competitors shoot at stationary and moving targets.

People come from as far away as Australia, New Zealand and Japan for this pistol competition.

Doug Alley owns the Ammo Alley gun shop in Jefferson City.

Alley only had to drive about 40 miles on Highway 63 and Route B to take a shot at this international contest just south of Hallsville.

Alley said, “This is an outstanding event.  It really gives you a feel for improving your overall skills.  This is one of the most difficult events that there is out there.”

This year’s Bianchi Cup ends Saturday.

Competitors will win cash prizes, awards and trophies.
