PETTIS COUNTY, MO. -- Over the weekend the mid-missouri drug task force busted a meth lab.
Marshall Tittsworth, 28, and Christopher Ayers, 21, are charged with felony manufacturing and possession of a controlled substance.
Pettis County deputies responded to 2196 McVey Road after someone complained of a strong chemical odor.
Authorities said Tittsworth and Ayers were among several people who tried to run from the house on foot when deputies arrived.
Police soon found the meth lab in a shed in the backyard. There were four tanks of anhydrous ammonia, scales, and packaging material.
Tittsworth and Ayers are being held on $100,000 bond.
Authorities said more suspects are being investigated and they could face charges by the end of the week.
