JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (AP) -- The Missouri House says parents who don't pay child support should not be allowed to gamble.

People with felony convictions for not making child support payments would be prohibited from entering a casino under a provision approved Tuesday by the House. Those who pay off their debts and court fees could petition the courts to be allowed back inside.

House members amended the child support provision to a bill that would allow gamblers to use game tokens to pay for food and drinks at casinos. That bill received first-round House approval, but needs another vote to move to the Senate.
