Gov. Nixon is urging mid-Missouri's young people to apply for summer jobs at the Lake of the Ozarks.

Friday is the deadline to apply for the state parks youth corps.

The governor hopes to employ about a thousand youth at state parks.

Anyone interested can apply online at www.Mo.gov.
