$20,00 boost to spay/neuter program

COLUMBIA -- The Columbia City Council approved a new $20,000 contract with the Central Missouri Humane Society Monday night to help low income resident have their dogs and cats spayed or neutered. 

An additional 150 dogs and 100 cats wil be covered. 

The money will also cover vaccinations for 800 dogs.
