NEW YORK (AP) -- President Bush will mingle with old warriors on the West Side of Manhattan as he helps rededicate the Intrepid museum ship on Veterans Day.
The World War II aircraft carrier was recently reanchored in its Hudson River berth after a 19-month refurbishing.
White House Press Secretary Dana Perino says Bush will pay tribute to those who served on the Intrepid -- and those he calls a "new generation of heroes" serving in the war on terror.
And with a backdrop of two fields filled with white burial markers, leaders from France, Great Britain and Germany marked the 90th anniversary of the end of World War I.
