Fulton café thief arrested

He also injured the manager on duty during the robbery

The man who robbed a Fulton café and injured the manager on duty Saturday has been arrested.

Surveillance video led to the identifcation of Michael Welch, who was arrested for first degree robbery, armed criminal action, second degree asssault and felony stealing. Employees of The Busy Corner Café also helped make the identification.

Welch was taken to the Callaway County Jail with a bond of $120,000.
