Update from the AP: Van Note is accused of killing her father by forging a durable power of attorney and persuading doctors to remove his life support at the hospital. She has pleaded not guilty. No charges have been filed in Dickson's death.
Susan Van Note, who was recently arrested for the murder of her father, is out of the Camden County Jail after posting a million dollar, cash-only bond.
According to the Lake Sun Leader newspaper, she was released Thursday. The Kansas City-area woman faces first degree murder and forgery charges in the death of her father, William Van Note.
William Van Note and Sharon Dickson died in October 2010, after an attack at their house in Sunrise Beach.
