A man was arrested in Howard County after authorities found an active meth lab inside a farmhouse.
Wednesday morning at about 9:15 in Northeast Howard County, near the Randolph County line, a farmer noticed someone inside the house and rode his tractor closer to see who it was.
When he got close to the house he saw, Jacob Strain, 32 run out.
The farmer fired a warning shot at Strain, and then fired at him a second time when he didn’t stop.
Strain took off in a Silver Pontiac Grand Prix and authorities later caught up with him on Route BB in Randolph County.
After securing the house, they found an active meth lab inside.
Strain is in the Howard County Jail pending formal charges.
