Man gets 15 years for cocaine conspiracy

COLUMBIA -- A Columbia man was sentenced today for his role in a cocaine distribution conspiracy. Matthew Raymond Olsson received a 15-year sentence in federal prison without parole.

Olsson, also known as AOdog Phatty, 33, of Columbia, was convicted September 29, 2011, of participating in a conspiracy to distribute cocaine in Boone County in August and September 2010. He was also found guilty of possessing cocaine with the intent to distribute.

Two co-defendants, Michael Jerome Walker, Jr., 27, and Corey Wayne Everage, 34, both of Columbia, were sentenced on March 5, 2012, after pleading guilty to their roles in the drug-trafficking conspiracy. Walker received a six year, three month term in federal prison without parole. Everage was sentenced to three years and seven months in federal prison, also without parole.
