COLUMBIA -- A Columbia man was arrested over the weekend for possession of child pornography.
18-year-old Eric Hall surrendered Friday, Feb. 20 to Columbia Police on two counts of possession of child pornography and one count of promoting child pornography.
Detectives began an investigation last spring when they learned a local resident was offering previously identified child porn through file sharing programs.
Officers seized several computers after a raid last November.
They say they found dozens of videos and photos, some with children as young as toddlers.
Hall is being held on a $40,000 bond.
