A hidden treasure of the Lake of the Ozarks, Jolly Rogers Grub & Grog in Rocky Mount is a place to go if you want good food and good times.
And at a time when most places at the lake are ready to call it quits, co-owner Joe Jung says they're seeing one of their best days of the year so far.
"Business is fantastic today,” said Jung. “I think it's going to be the busiest day of the year for us. We're on course to set a record for most customers in. Our dock guys are doing a wonderful job of getting the boats in and out of here. The bartenders are mixing some excellent cocktails, and the kitchen's just cranking out the food."
And they're not done yet...
"October 20th is our last day. That's 'Drink Jolly Dry'. I'd tell you all about it, but I can't, so you'll just have to come by on the 20th"
The weather traveling up from the what's left of Issac may worry some, but Joe just says “have a drink and be jolly”.
"We've got the Hurricane on special"
