Several people have been taken to University Hospital after a Missouri Military Academy van and a gray SUV collided outside North Callaway High School Tuesday afternoon.
The SUV was traveling northbound on Highway 54 and collided with the van while it was crossing the highway.
The entire front of the SUV was smashed, as was the side of the van.
A female from the SUV was life-flighted to the hospital, while students from the Academy van were transported by ambulance.
A state trooper on the scene did not have any information about their conditions.
The Missouri Military Academy students were going to North Callaway High School for a basketball tournament, which continued as planned.
