The recent heat wave has brought afternoon temps to the 100° mark and the heat index a lot closer to 110°.  This has many of you saying, “it’s as hot as an oven!”  This is especially true in vehicles when people leave children and pets inside with the window cracked.

So I wanted to find out, is it really as hot as an oven?  To test this I picked up some ready made cookie dough and pre packaged cinnamon rolls.  I’ll let you know how hot it really gets inside your car when it’s 100 degrees out and show you safety concerns for children and pets.
