COLUMBIA, Mo. (AP) -- A documentary film festival that brings together movie makers and cinema buffs was starting Thursday in Columbia.

The seventh annual True/False Film Festival features writers, directors and producers discussing their movies with the audience after each screening.

The festival draws submissions from around the world and takes place in theaters, rock clubs and college lecture halls throughout Columbia. Last year's festival drew about 15,000 people.
