Cardinals player makes an appearance in Jefferson City

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. – The grand opening of a new sporting goods store in Jefferson City took place earlier this weekend, but today they had a special event for their customers and Saint Louis Cardinals fans.
Cardinals outfielder and baseman Allen Craig made an appearance at the store today to sign autographs for fans.
M
ost remember Craig for his performance in game 1 of the 2011 world series, where he became the first player with 2 go-ahead RBI as a pinch-hitter during World Series play.
Dick's also provided the first 100 customers in line with an undisclosed amount of gift card money during the event.
The store held special extended store hours and other special events all weekend to celebrate its grand opening.
