Police find active meth lab in Versailles

VERSAILLES -- A man and woman were arrested in Versailles after authorities found an active meth lab in their home.

Members of the Morgan County Sheriff’s Department, Mid Missouri Drug Task Force and Versailles Police Department executed a search warrant in the 800-block of Jefferson Street in Versailles on March 15, 2012.

During the search of Cole and Jennifer Stevenson’s home officials removed an active Methamphetamine lab, along with Methamphetamine, digital scales and drug paraphernalia.

Before the search was executed, deputies arrested the couple on Coffee Creek Road and seized meth and marijuana.

Both Cole and Jennifer Stevenson are charged with possession of a controlled substance and have a bond set at $20,000.
