Several hundred folks crowded the Main Street Music Hall in Osage Beach Friday morning to hear from the man they think has the best shot against President Obama in November.

The economy, healthcare, and middle eastern relations were all issues discussed at the "Rally for Rick" event and many in attendance were welcoming his message with open arms.

"I do not agree with Obama's healthcare. [We] need to get our economy back up and running, and working for us, not for the government," said Carmen Heyer, a supporter of Santorum who was at the rally.

The main issue for many here, and the main platform of Santorum's attack is President Obama's treatment of the national debt and the overall economy.

David Livingston is another supporter of Santorum's who showed up at the rally. He says he's supporting Santorum because he doesn't trust many others when it comes to running the country.

"Americans need to wake up. you can't tv and trust what you're hearing. you have to research. you have to study. you have to know what's going on in the country," he said.

With Santorum and front-runner Mitt Romney running their campaigns virtually neck and neck, Santorum admitted a lot is on the line in the race, but he still believes he has what it takes to win in November.

Rest assured, Heyer will stand strongly behind Santorum by then.

"Too many people are tired of Obama and his policies...I'm one of 'em"
