Columbia PD's investigation will likely take several more weeks
An anonymous letter sent to media outlets complaining of servers exposing their breasts during a golf tournament led to an investigation by the Columbia F.O.P. Lodge #26. That investigation determined that an incident occurred during the CPOA Golf Tournament on June 11.
The report said the unsigned letter overstated the situation, and that it was an incident involving women who exposed their breasts at a remote location, far from the Club House.
Since this was a private event and no Missouri laws were broken, it is being dealt with as a private matter between Truman’s and its employees.
The report concluded with this: "After 19 years of raising charitable donations for the community, Columbia F.O.P. does not want this incident to sully an otherwise successful charity fundraiser."
The Columbia Police Department's investigation is not over, and will likely take several more weeks.
