Police have arrested a second suspect in regards to Tuesday's reported robbery near Subway on Forum Boulevard.
Police said on Thursday afternoon, Trevor Buckhalter was escorted by his attorney to turn himself in at the Columbia Police Department. His attorney gave detectives an envelope with the money stolen from Subway.
Trevor Buckhalter was arrested for felony stealing.
He is in the Boone County Jail with a bond of $4,500.
Update: Wednesday, Aug. 31 at 2:00 p.m.:
Columbia police are now on the lookout for Kelli Buckhalter’s husband.
While questioning her, she admitted her involvement in Tuesday’s robbery near the Forum Subway. Buckhalter also implicated her husband as an accomplice.
Investigators reached Trevor Buckhalter by phone and requested he turn himself in. Trevor initially agreed, but has not shown up at the police department.
He is wanted by police.

Columbia Police said Tuesday morning’s reported robbery on Forum Boulevard was a false report. The woman who reported the robbery was arrested.
Police originally said they were looking for a suspect who robbed a woman of a bank deposit bag when she was on her way from the Subway restaurant to the nearby U.S. Bank to make a deposit. Detectives determined that to be false.
Detectives arrested Kelli Buckhalter Tuesday afternoon for making a false report of a strong arm robbery. Buckhalter was also arrested for felony stealing for taking the bank deposit bag.
She admitted her involvement in the incidents.
