Columbia City Officials have chosen these dancers to represent them on an international tour in Suncheon Bay, South Korea.

In July, the Columbia-based ballet troop will perform at the International Garden Exposition 2013.

Directors and dancers want to raise $25,000 by April 15 to help cover the cost of transportation for their international debut.

Once there, South Korean officials will cover other expenses including housing accommodations, meals, translators and guides through the city.

Director Karen Mareck Grundy said, “It is an international festival.  People from all over the world will be there.  We will be performing outside on a stage that will be set up for us to perform outside.  We have three performances once we get there.”
