Late Thursday night the East Central Drug Task Force assisted by the Northeast Missouri Drug Task Force, the Vandalia Police Department, Missouri State Highway Patrol, and the Audrain County Sheriff’s Office served two search warrants in Vandalia.

The first was in the 400-block of West Bland.

Officers arrested 31-year-old James Scott, and seized ½ ounce of methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, cash, four rifles and a handgun.

Scott was arrested for distribution of methamphetamine.

The second search warrant was served in the 700-block of West Paige.

Officers found four-grams of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Arrests there are pending.
