Robbery at a Columbia convenience store on Rangeline

The Petro Mart Convenience store on Rangeline in Columbia was robbed early this morning.

At 4:24a.m. Columbia police officers were dispatched to the Petro Mart Convenience store, after report of an armed robbery.

A  press release states that a suspect entered the store with a knife and demanded money from the two clerks. 

The suspect left with an undisclosed amount of cash on foot. 

A Boone County K-9 was called in to track the robber and led police to a parking lot where it is believed the suspect entered a vehicle and left the area.

The suspect is described as a hispanic male, 5’5”, 140 lbs, bushy eyebrows. He was wearing a black ski mask, dark colored
handkerchief, grey long sleeve shirt, dark grey pants, and light colored shoes.
