COLUMBIA, Mo. -- The Boone County Sheriff's Department is releasing information about a late night assault on Saturday that has one main sitting in jail.
At 6:11 p.m., Deputies were called to the 1000 block of North Kathryn Drive after a woman reported a man that she knew came to her apartment and started assaulting her.
Deputies say 45-year-old Kenneth Isenberg of Columbia, came to her apartment earlier that afternoon and held her inside her apartment while he assaulted her and threatened to kill her several times.
The woman eventually was able to leave the residence, after which she called authorities reporting what happened.
When deputies arrived at the apartment, Isenberg was still inside, but refused to let them in. They were able to eventualy force their way in and apprehend Isenberg.
In relation to the events on Saturday, Isenberg was arrested for Third-degree Assualt, Felonious Restraint, Unlawful use of a weapon, Resisting Arrest, and Second-degree property damage, carrying a $14,500 total bond.
Isenberg was also arrested for prior outstanding warrents, which were forgery and recieving stolen property with a total bond of $3,915. He also had a no-bond warrant for probation violation.
