(AP) -- JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (AP) -- An Atchison County crop farmer has been re-elected as president of the Missouri Farm Bureau Federation.

Blake Hurst of Westboro, Missouri retained his post in an election earlier this week at the bureau's 98th annual meeting. Prior to being named president two years ago, he was an MFB vice president for seven years and represented northwest Missouri on the board of directors for eight years.

He also serves on the American Farm Bureau Federation's board of directors.

Hurst raises corn and soybeans with his father, brothers, nephews and two sons-in-law, and operates a wholesale greenhouse business with his wife, daughter and sons-in-law.
