A Pulaski County man is facing drug-related charges today.

Shannon Hood, 33, was arrested yesterday morning.

A Pulaski County deputy pulled Hood's car over around 9:00 a.m. yesterday near I-44 and the Rt. H overpass because the car did not display a front license plate.

Hood admitted that his license was suspended. The Deputy then found a firearm, drug paraphernalia, a digital pocket scale and a baggy with small white powder believed to be methamphetamine in Hood's possession.

Hood was charged with one count of possession of a controlled substance, a class C felony.

Bond was set at $10,000.
