Burning season in Jefferson City starts Thursday, November 15.

Yard waste may be burned during daylight hours only, and fires must be watched at all times. Burning on city streets, sidewalks or storm drains is not allowed.

A compost facility on Southridge Drive can also be used for free by city residents.

Burning season ends March 15.
