Two Columbia home invasions Saturday morning

COLUMBIA, Mo. -- Columbia police are reporting that two separate home invasions that took place early Saturday morning were carried out by the same suspects.

They say three black males are responsible for breaking into two adjacent apartments at the 4000 block of Oakland Gravel Road around 5:30 a.m.

The suspects allegedly threatened the occupants with guns, demanding money and property. They say the men choked one of the residents,

The suspectsreportedly fled on foot in an unknown direction.

No one was reported after the robberies occured.

The Columbia Police Department is currently investigating the incident. No arrests have been made.

They describe the suspects as three black males wearing black masks and clothing, and armed with handguns.
