(AP) -- JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (AP) -- Missouri Attorney General Chris Koster is spreading some of his campaign wealth, chipping in $52,000 to help other Democrats.
Online state campaign finance records show Koster's campaign on Thursday contributed $6,000 each to Democratic secretary of state candidate Jason Kander and to Democratic lieutenant governor candidate Susan Montee.
Records also show that on Thursday, Koster's campaign contributed $20,000 each to Democratic campaign committees for the state House and for the state Senate.
Koster is seeking a second term as attorney general. Running against him is St. Louis attorney Ed Martin, who served as chief of staff to Republican Gov. Matt Blunt.
