COLUMBIA, Mo. --Columbia Police tonight have a suspect is in custody in connection to a shooting just before noon today.
29-year-old Justin Campbell of Fulton is suspected of shooting of 31-year-old beau leach of Columbia.
Investigators say leach was dropped off at the university hospital emergency room entrance around noon today.
Once there, he was taken directly into surgery.After surgical treatment, leach named Campbell as the suspect
A tip lead detectives to look for the suspect in Fulton.
Formal charges are still pending.Investigators believe the shooting stemmed from a drug deal.
