(AP) -- PAGEDALE, Mo. (AP) -- The Missouri State Highway Patrol says a 4-year-old boy has died, and an 11-year-old boy is hospitalized after they were struck by a hit-and-run driver in Pagedale.
Patrol Sergeant Al Nothum says the boys were trying to cross a street Friday evening when they were hit by a pickup truck.
The patrol told The St. Louis Post-Dispatch that 4-year-old Trayeshon Williams died at the scene, and 11-year-old Jayshard Conner is hospitalized in St. Louis in critical condition.
Authorities are looking for a white or light-colored extended cab Chevrolet Silverado or GMC Sierra pickup truck that fled the scene.
