Gary Coleman, 49, of Jefferson City is wanted by Callaway County authorities

Updated October 10 @ 5:30 p.m.:

The Callaway County Sheriff has identified the man who allegedly robbed a New Bloomfield bank Saturday as Gary Leland Coleman, 49, of Jefferson City. The Prosecuting Attorney has filed a second degree robbery charge against Coleman. 

Authorities received numerous tips concerning the identity after they released photos taken at the bank.

Authorities in Callaway County are looking for a man who robbed a New Bloomfield bank this morning.

It happened at the bank star one, at the intersection of Highway J and Old highway 54.

According to the Callaway County Sheriff's Department, the suspect walked into the bank a little after nine, and calmly told the bank teller to put money into a plastic bag.

The suspect is this black man with short cropped hair in his late 30's to early 40's.

Authorities aren't saying whether they believe the suspect is from the area.

Anyone with information should call the Callaway County Sheriff.
