(AP) --  A fire blazed through a machinery shed and sent two firefighters to seek medical attention.

The structure fire was reported at 2:25 pm Sunday afternoon in the 2100 block of County road 1460 in Randolph County.

The fire spread to a second building on the private property, taking an hour in a half to control.

34 firefighters from 5 departments serving two counties responded.

Two firefighters were left with injuries at the end of the battle with the blaze. One firefighter was taken to Moberly Regional Medical to be treated for heat exhaustion while another was transported by Randolph County EMS to University Hospital for chemical exposure.

The two firefighters were reported as having minor injuries and both have since been released from medical treatment.

The Missouri State Fire Marshall's office investigated and calls this incident a mechanical fire.
