Update:

Columbia Police have released a statement saying that they did not find the suspect inside the house, although they have recovered an unspecified amount of narcotics, firearms, and ammunition from the residence. They are continuing the investigation.

Columbia, Mo. -- Authorities have a duplex in the 3400 block of Bonny Linn Drive surrounded. Police, SWAT and K9 teams are in place for the standoff.

Multiple shots were heard early Monday afternoon. Columbia police were dispatched to Lawnridge and Brown Station Road at 1:13 p.m., where they began searching for the shooter.

One person has been arrested, although no identities have yet been released.
