(AP) -- POPLAR BLUFF, Mo. (AP) -- A police dog in the southeast Missouri town of Poplar Bluff is credited with a key role in the arrest of two armed robbery suspects.
The robbery happened Wednesday at a Casey's General Store.
Police caught up to the alleged robbers after a police dog with the K-9 unit tracked their scent to a parking lot, where investigators found tire tracks on the pavement. Those tracks matched tire tracks in a nearby grass lot that led to the arrest of two suspects.
